This blog aims to document my Caterham 420R SV Build. Building a kit car is something I've always wanted to do. I can't count up the number of hours I've spent reading and watching lots of other people create their own Caterhams but hopefully it will turn out to be just as exciting as all the ones I read about!

When I first spec'd up the Caterham the build process was the most exciting part for me. I like creating things but was never really a big open wheel Caterham fan. However the more I watched and read blogs of the process, the more excited I actually got about wanting to own one and just go out for those great drives when the weather is good.

I've always been into karting as well, and with this build, I'm probably going to end up taking it on the track as well, something I've not done much of in the past!

I hope the blog helps anyone else out who is intending to do the same as I have.
